A fashion week is a fashion industry event that lasts approximately one week. Fashion designers, brands or “houses” display their latest collections in runway fashion shows to buyers and the media during the event which influence trends for the current and upcoming seasons.

The most prominent fashion weeks are held in the fashion capitals of the world – New York, London, Milan and Paris; known as the “Big Four.”

Fashion Week Calendar

This September, the Big Four will be having womenswear shows for the fashion week. The show happens in order – it always starts in New York, then London, Milan, and Paris.

New York Fashion Week Spring 2018 starts on September 7 – 14, 2017. Almost 200 brands are joining the show and some of them are these prominent names in New York’s fashion industry – Donna Karan, Urban Zen, Calvin Klein, Christian Siriano, Club Monaco, Project Runway, Michael Kors, Victoria Beckham, Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren.

London Fashion Week Spring 2018 will be held on September 15 – 19, 2017. Almost a hundred of famous names will grace this year’s London Fashion Week show such as Xiao Li, Ralph and Russo, Fyodor Golan, Topshop, Versus Versace, Emporio Armani, Jamie Wei Huang, Burberry and Tommy Hilfiger.

Milan Fashion Week Spring 2018 is set to happen on September 20 – 26, 2017. Around 70 fashion brands such as Gucci, Fendi, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo, Bottega Venetta, Giorgio Armani and Versace, will be present for the MFW show.

On September 26 – October 2, 2017 is the Paris Fashion Week Spring 2018. Expect Lacoste, Christian Dior, Saint Laurent, Nina Ricci, Guy Laroche, Elie Saab, Jacquemus, Zara Umrigar and more or less 50 more brands on the runway show.
