How to Affordably Search for an Apartment

Affordable apartment? Finding the ideal affordable apartment is never the easiest task. Yet it’s certainly possible to discover the right living space to meet our needs and still fit within our monthly budget.

Some of you have probably spent hours on end looking for places to live in top cities in the US like New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Las Vegas, and maybe you’ve come across UMoveFree in Dallas.

Or better yet, maybe you’re relocating to another country in Asia like Japan, China, the Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, or Singapore. If Europe is your destination of choice, you might want to live in Greece, Iceland, Italy, Spain, or France. No matter what, just know that it is more than possible to find an affordable place to live in any one of these amazing locations if you have the right guidance.

To help make your dreams a reality, we’ll share our best tips for finding an apartment you can afford. Please use this information as a valuable guide.

Tip #1: Understand Additional Hidden Fees When Looking for Apartments

Every apartment is going to be different. Some places are going to charge additional money if you have pets. Other apartment buildings are going to charge more if you need to get a parking space. Still others will ask for extra money for a number of other reasons.
As an example, if you intend to move to Orlando you may have to pay an additional $10-$15 per month on average for each one of your pets. This doesn’t seem too outrageous on the surface, but it is additional money that might have to come out of your pocket. On the other hand, apartments in San Diego could easily charge an additional $50 or more per pet, which could really turn into a big additional expense over the long run.
What about parking? Does the apartment complex charge an additional fee to get a parking space? How much does it cost? In some situations, you could very well end up spending an additional $100 a month or more for a space. A hundred dollars seems to be the minimum in a big city like Seattle.
As a reminder, please keep additional fees in mind when searching for a new place. They are added expenses that make certain apartments much less affordable.

Tip #2: Do You Really Need Every Amenity?

We all want to live in an amazing luxury apartment. Unfortunately, some of us just aren’t able to afford the biggest and best amenities available in some of the top luxury apartments. So think about the amenities that are most important to you and choose your next apartment wisely based on this information.
As an example, do you absolutely have to have a laundry unit in your apartment? Or is an on-site laundry room sufficient enough? Does the complex have to have a weight room, a dog park, and other luxurious amenities? Or can you live without them?
Some people can easily afford the best that life has to offer. But most others need to pick and choose their luxuries. So find an apartment with the luxuries you absolutely cannot live without and forgo other more expensive places when necessary.

Tip #3: Negotiate with Your Potential Landlord
Believe it or not, it might be possible to negotiate a lower price with your potential landlord. Maybe the apartment isn’t in perfect shape and you’ll have to do some work to fix it up. You could ask the landlord to charge less rent since you’re going to be sinking money into the apartment to make it look nice again. eGetinnz can definitely help you out just message m.me/eGetinnz

In Conclusion…
Renting an affordable apartment might seem difficult on the surface. But if you follow our guidelines and put them into action you’ll have no trouble finding the ideal apartment to meet your budgetary requirements and still have the amenities you’ve always wanted.

2018: A Refresher of the Awesome Things You Can Do in Boracay

Only 7km long, and at points, only 500m wide, Boracay has become the most famous island in the Philippines. The island is a postcard-perfect location, defined by white sandy beaches, clear blue waters, palm trees, and luxury resorts.

For those looking for a relaxing holiday, settle into the islands beach beanbags, and enjoy ice cold tropical cocktails. For the more adventurous, there is a wide range of water sports activities, including jet skis, windsurfing, and diving.

Now that it is open to the public again, here is a refresher of the great things to do in Boracay,

1. Cliff Diving at Ariel’s Point

Ariel’s Point is a small rocky island 30 minutes from Boracay with 5 diving boards, ranging from 3 to 15 meters.

The challenge of cliff diving combined with the natural environment, the social setting, unlimited drinks, and a BBQ buffet make it one of Boracay’s most popular things to do.

It’s a day trip and the use of activity equipment such as snorkeling gear, stand up paddleboards and kayaks is included.

2. Explore Boracay’s Beaches and Islands by Boat

Parasailing is an exhilarating way to get amazing aerial views of Boracay and its surroundings. You’ll have about 15 minutes of airtime to enjoy.

3. Go on a Sailing Adventure with a Paraw

A paraw is a local sailboat that’s similar to a catamaran in that it has 2 outriggers. Depending on the time of day and the weather you’ll have a different experience…

A paraw can carry up to 6 people and you can choose between a private or a join in a group tour, both normally last an hour.

4. Tour the Island Like a Boss in a Helicopter

Experience the ultimate aerial view of Boracay with a helicopter. You’ll fly all around the island to get views of its different beaches and surrounding islands.

If you’ve never experienced flying in a helicopter before, this is your chance to do so at a surprisingly affordable rate.

The heli can carry 3 people (excluding the pilot), and flights last from 10 up to 20 minutes.

5. Go on a Mainland Adventure Tour

The mainland adventures tour is a day trip that takes place at and around Nabaoy River. A jungle garden next to the river serves as the base camp from which you can explore the surrounding nature, enjoy the BBQ lunch and do add-on activities.

There are many add-on activities to choose from, such as river tubing, waterfall exploration, mountain biking and more.

6. Explore the Underwater World with Scuba Diving

Boracay has over 15 dive sites that are all accessible via a short boat ride. Most of them are easy so it’s a perfect place for beginners to learn. If you’re a more experienced diver then there are some challenging dive sites as well, like Yapak.

7. Go Helmet Diving and Find Nemo

Helmet diving is the easiest way to enjoy the underwater world of Boracay. No swimming ability or diving knowledge is required. Just put the helmet on and you’re ready to go.

Once you’re down under you’ll be surprised at how tame the fish are, they’re not scared of you, and you can feed them too. Your guide will also take underwater pictures of you and your friends which you can take home as a fun reminder of the activity.

8. Fly with the Zipline

Zip down across Boracay’s landscape in the superman position and feel the high-speed thrill as you take in the view of the lush green landscape, and Lapuz Lapuz beach to your right.

The zip line ride takes about 3 minutes. After that, you’ll travel back up to your original position in a cable car. That ride takes 15 to 20 minutes, so on the way back, you’ll have time to enjoy the view in a more relaxing setting.

9. Ride the Fly Fish

The Fly Fish is a big inflatable raft that goes airborne when a speedboat pulls it along at high speed. At medium speed, it’ll start to make unpredictable movements as the front of the raft lifts up. It’s lots of fun trying to hold on as it twists and turns and occasionally goes airborne.

10. Become a Mermaid & Get a Photoshoot

Learn to swim like a mermaid in Boracay’s clear blue waters and meet other mermaids. You can also capture your transformation with a photo shoot.

11. Get a Massage

After a fun-filled day of activities, what better way is there to relax than with a massage. Rest and let your body recharge for the evening. You can get a massage either along the beach or inside a spa. On the beach is usually cheaper, most commonly? P350 (~USD $7).

7 Things to do in Pangasinan Aside from the Counting the Hundred Islands

Located in northern Luzon, Pangasinan is practically famous for the Hundred Islands in Alaminos but aside from the said tourist attraction, Pangasinan still has a lot to offer, even more so that Boracay is closed. The Ilocos-Pangasinan-Zambales area is most likely to fill in. Here are a few things you could more than enjoy in the land where salt is made.

hundred islands1. Balungao Hilltop Adventure, Balungaosuperman-zip-2

Before getting yourself strapped on a safety harness, you still need to endure one long and steep climb up the mountain. There are two ziplines on the peak, one is 620m for those who want to get down fast and the other one is 1.4km, that could last for more than a minute for you to enjoy the rather exciting view, that is if you can manage to keep your eyes open throughout the swoooosh. Also, there is an ATV rental at your disposal when you want to roam around the terrain.

2.  Lingayen’s Architectural Masterpiececapitol1

The province’s capital has been around since the World War 2, and remnants of the unfortunate event are still pretty much visible in the area. Outside, the city hall is just as magnificent on the inside. The local government unit’s building is a tourist spot itself. Inside is a mini-museum of the city, where everything you need to know about Lingayen could be found.

3. Power Kitingkite-1

Looks easy enough? There are two stages of power kiting in Pangasinan, you need to make the huge kite fly–like really fly then follow the wind towards the sea, step on your boards, and voila that is power kiting. This is not for everyone though, kiting is not for everybody, some people cannot even make a small kite fly.

4. Visit the Death PoolDeath Pool

This crater was because of both earth and water natural process, this spot is where two large waves from two different currents meet, it fills the ditch, making it a saltwater pool. Only professional or amateur swimmers can actually take this, nobody knows how deep the hole is, therefore, safety is a must when visiting the Death Pool

5. Salt Sea Farm, BolinaoDSC_4618

In the year 2017, tourists take an unusual detour to watch farmers harvest salt. A 1993 study conducted by the Nutrition Center of the Philippines showed that salt from this town, combined with those produced in the towns of Bolinao and Bani and Alaminos City, totaled 74,765 MT, the highest salt production by a province in the country for that year.

6. Paddle at Balingasay, Riverthe Enchanted Cave, Bolinao

Paddle through the country’s cleanest river. The waters of the river of Balingasay lead to the Enchanted Cave, where somehow it is Puerto Princesa in Pangasinan.

7. Watch the Sunset

Laois Beach right after sunset.Being located in the western part of Luzon, Pangasinan took sunsets to the next level. Manila Bay could not even par. Perhaps Thanos actually missed a Pangasinan Sunset Brochure when he decided to go to Benguet.

Baler’s Sunrise Beach

Surf more than just than the internet &ride the waves in Baler. With the currents straight from the largest ocean in the globe, Sabang Beach in Aurora has been dubbed as the surfing capital of the Philippines. Many never thought that the hobby and passion for surfing would be possible in a tropical country such as the Philippines although there are other beach spots that could offer strong waves to ride like in Pagudpud in Ilocos but nothing can come close to Baler’s Sabang Beach and with eGetinnz you are already one click closer to Baler, visit our website http://egetinnz.com now.

Why should you go?

It is a natural surfer’s turf. The beach stretches two kilometers long and is enough to make the slope even, the currents mildly strong depending on the weather, the sand (though it is not white) refined, and the high tide lasts longer than other beaches in the country. In addition to that, the waters are flexible in terms of difficulty from professionals, amateurs, and beginners. Bathala really did create Sabang Beach for water loving-adrenaline junkie-adventure seeker wanderers.

Tomorrow begins in the east. Sabang Beach is also called the Sunrise Beach, where Apollo and Poseidon harmonize beautifully. Who would not want to wake up to such beautiful view? Some views are worth getting up in the morning for and some even pushes people to epiphany. Watch tomorrow literally begin in Baler.

tumblr_ngy4yvEFes1qb47b6o4_1280

Although Baler is the epitome of surfing in the Philippines, there is more to the place. It is filled with history as well; Baler is the birthplace of the country’s second president but legitimately first appointed by the United States of America after the colonization era. Baler Museum has everything to know about Manuel Quezon. The museum also has General Douglas McArthur’s ride back when he used to hang around the northern provinces with his loyal troops.

Trek and hike to the Mother Falls. The magnificent fifty-meter high water falls lures people by its booming sound of cold-fresh water rushing down. Locally known as Ditumabo Falls, it can be accessed via 45-minute or four-kilometer trek. Mother Falls is located in the town of San Luis, Baler and you can always check nearby places where you can stay at https://www.egetinnz.com/s/baler–aurora–philippines/ChIJkzvWeuWmkDMRdblJ7-5YzP0?&guests=1.

Nature’s history. If San Francisco has the oldest red oaks, Baler has the oldest Balete Tree. The centuries-old tree lives up to its name, tourists gather to marvel at its sight. There are myths about the tree, not this certain tree but with Balete trees, it is said to have creatures living by its trunk and branches however the Baler Balete tree is so huge, honestly looks like a portal to the mythical world itself. If you dare to believe in such stories.

Palawander

Palawan and Wander

Philippines is an archipelago therefore it has a myriad of beautiful islands to visit but none can compare to the island province of Palawan. You can skip other beaches on your list but not this one. Skip Palawan and you miss half of your life, and that is not hyperbolic. Palawan is known all over the world as the “Philippines’ Last Frontier” and the island definitely earned the name. Centuries ago, Chinese sea voyagers called the island land of beautiful harbors or in their native tongue was Pa-Lao-Yu and overtime as language did evolve became Palawan.
Both the flora and fauna in the island are vast, giving safe refuge for over a hundred endangered species. The biodiversity of Palawan could also be considered as a global phenomenon. Palawan was once more declared as the best island in the world in 2015 by the Conde Nast Traveler’s annual list for the Reader’s Choice Awards where Palawan achieved an overall rating of 85.937. Imagine the African Safari in one province but greener, and wetter. You can take a 360 degree turn and you would see the crystal and turquoise water all around you.

What to do?

Palaw’an Tribe

Meet some locals.

Palawan is not just a safe haven for plants and animals but also for the indigenous people that continued to live and thrive there. The Palaw’an tribe in Puerto Princesa is one and they are residing by the Palawan Butterfly Ecological Garden and Tribal Village. They are the legitimate caretakers of the wonderful refuge and the ones who know the island from the back of their hand. These people are the epitome of simplicity and innocence, following the implemented laws of the local government and being the productive and helpful citizens the way everybody should. The Palaw’ans do not mind sharing their homes to tourists and travelers as well, they treat any other people like blood. Many tourists feel right at home with the tribe that never fail to give everyone who would visit the island a sense of belonging. When tourist come back to visit Palawan and they always try to come back to the family that welcomed and accepted them to their own homes.

Snorkeling and Island Hopping at El Nido

Marveling at the sceneries are not enough without shedding some sweat doing fun activities in Palawan. One thrilling activity aside from the usual swimming and diving would be the island hopping not by boats or yachts but by air. Zip-lines connect a small few islands in Palawan and it is open for all adrenaline junkie tourists.
There is more to Palawan when you wander under the its waters. The marine life of the island stuns even foreign professional divers. It only justifies why there are certain laws that were made to protect the reef but nevertheless tourists and friends to fishes can enjoy the exotic marine view.

Party and entertain yourself

Where there is a beach, there is fun. Go visit Pukka Bar in El Nido. This is called the place to make walwal if you are ever in El Nido. One of the oldest place to chill and drink in the island, due to new competition Pukka has responded by expanding its glorious gift and now has two entrances, one on Hama St. and one on the beach. Enjoy the live reggae music and buckets of beers and spirits of your own taste.
IMG_2629
If you are less of a party and rave person, you can definitely unwind with a bottle of drink in your hand at the Snake Island Bar or also known as the floating bar located in Bacuit Bay. However this beachy bistro can only be visited by boat and during the low tide which is only about 4am to 4pm every day.

Try the local exotic cuisines

The tamilok or woodworms or in some parts of the island are called shipworms and the famous crocodile meat. Both have been featured in the Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho television show. For tourists the cuisine are unbearable also for some Manilenos but truth be told it is rich in protein and vitamins. Only those who has the guts can actually try these two out.
